Description
Purchase all three of the 2016 Annual Conference Pre-Conference Sessions and save! Building Sustainable and Customized Reports This session will provide a hands-on demonstration of several models to create interactive, customized reports for your practice. It will begin with Excel Pivot Tables that sort, filter, group and chart data. Then, there will be a demonstration on connecting those Excel reports to SQL Server so that when the data in SQL Server changes, the reports and charts automatically update every time Excel is opened. Finally, there will be an introduction to SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) to schedule email alerts and create webpages that show just what you need to know when you need to see it. By the end of the course, attendees will be able to: •Differentiate three different models for creating customized reports for medical practices. •Analyze Excel, SQL Server, and SSRS custom reports. •Leverage applications for each reporting model in your practice environment. Attendees are encouraged to bring their laptops to have a hands-on experience during this session. Congratulations! ... It's a MIPS? Join AAOE Education Council Chair Jeanetta Lawrence, MBA, FACMPE, CPC, CMPA, CMRS, Healthcare Compliance Pros CEO Eric Christensen, and AAOE Government Affairs Manager Bradley Coffey, MA as they discuss the new Merit-based Incentive Payment System (MIPS) from the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS). Learn about the provisions of the new rule and how it will impact your practice and learn what compliance will look like under the proposed rule as well as the timeline for regulatory approval. Filling Your Lean Toolboox This session will be presented in two parts. Part one will introduce attendees to the LEAN 7 Quality Tools used to make decisions and drive improvement. Part two will review the “Management by Fact” (MBF) approach that will help drive results or manage significant improvement areas (revenue, A / R, patient volumes, access, etc.). By the end of the course, attendees will be able to: •Identify the seven basic quality tools and explain the purpose of each. •Construct many of the basic quality tools. •Explain how all of these tools fit together. •Build your own MBF, addressing one key result area in your practice.
