Every year, AAOE members and other orthopaedic practice executives come together for a few days to reconnect, learn, and further their professional development at the AAOE Annual Conference. Healthcare's rapidly changing landscape makes a conference such as this key for industry professionals - not only for staying up-to-date on what is happening, but also to interact with peers who are going through the same things as you.

Here's what some of the AAOE 2017 Annual Conference attendees are saying about their experience.

“The best part of conference is the educational sessions and the variety of opportunities to pick and choose from areas of interest … Networking is fun and you get to see that while organizations are different in size, location, etc., the issues are the same.”
Paul Bruning, DHA, Signature Medical Group

“My biggest reason for attending [the conference] is to gain exposure to the most current thought leaders and the most cutting edge knowledge base that's available on the market currently. AAOE is exceptional as it’s fully driven towards ortho, whereas something like MGMA is good, but is much more generalized. I also consistently walk away with clearer a perspective on where that my practice is and what I can do to help it, and my partners take their next step in growing the practice.”
Andrew Wade, MBA, Coastal Orthopaedic Associates PA

“I would like to start by saying that this was my first AAOE conference and I truly enjoyed it. Everyone was so welcoming! It was nice to meet so many new people, not to mention the wealth of information that I gleaned! I’m already looking forward to Orlando 2018!”
Brittany Powers, Orthopaedic Center of Virginia’s

“I was at the conference and finished one class and felt I got my money’s worth. Really good presentations.”
Nan Neff, CMPE, Orthopaedic Associates of Reading, Ltd.

“I came back with so many ideas I don’t even know where to start! … Many of the things I learned did not come out of a session. Lots of lunch, break, and dinner conversations; meeting people in the hallways…the hotel lobby bar…I have so many people I could call right now, for any question or situation I may have.”
Andrea Vitalich, MBA, Pacific Rim Orthopaedic Surgeons

What an awesome conference. It was packed with terrific information. The president of our group attended, and was very "wowed" by the content and the professionalism. We are making SIGNIFICANT changes in our practice as a result of attending AAOE 2017! Make sure you plan to come to AAOE 2018, as I am convinced we need each other more now than ever.
